Battery Concerns

I'm new to the "Elantra Forum" and would like to stay up to date with what's going on.
I own a 2023 Elantra Hybrid Ltd., and so far am satisfied with the car. I have about 10k miles on it with no problems.
My biggest concern is the 12V aux battery. My neighbor had to have his replaced in his 2022 Elantra hybrid.
Dealer told him this was not covered and the bill was his.
Hopefully this will not occur soon for me. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard!
Usually, on ICE cars, the 12v battery is covered for a very short period, maybe 12 months, then it is on the owner. I don't know anything about EVs so I am guessing when i say I would think the battery should be at 12.6 or higher.

If new the 3/36 warranty covers in the USA - from the 24 Elantra Warrany book

Yep the battery in my 21 Hyundai Venue died at about 33k miles and 34 months, and the dealer gave me a brand new Hyundai replacement battery with full warranty. He said technically the warranty should be up at 36k but they honor the full term on it.
