Anyone know why Hyundai U.S. decided to give us a single trim level? unlike the Canadian market Elantra GT 5-Door that gets THREE to choose from?

Not really impressed with this. I thought Hyundai had more of a demand in the U.S. over Canada.

im in the US and it doesn't seem that american's like the elantra gt hatch, seems like hyundai is choosing trim levels wisely according to sales.

Just when I thought this was bad enough, Europe gets a 2 door version of the Elantra GT and an Elantra GT 5-Door hatch & touring wagon! Talk about options, they have it all, meanwhile north america continues to be left out.

I think canada has 4 actually.. GT GL, GLS, SE and SE TECH. But can you guys (US) get manual with the SE look?? Cause we can not, manual stops at GLS, so leather, auto climate, smart key and reverse camera are not reachable

I'm not sure what our Elanta GT options are like, i'll have to look into it but I haven't been seeing much of them around. When I have, they seem to be basemodel elantra gt's

I would have LOVED to get the SE TECH in 6 speed manual!! But in canada, we can not... In the states, you totally can!! AND you get interior colour options!! We get options, as long as you like black!

Yes, mine is a loaded 6-speed car. The US has all the same trims, but they are packages instead. Mine is a manual with Tech and Style packages, so leather, auto climate, back up camera, nav, pano roof.

And.... blue leather is unique!
