Hi,

I have a 2014 Elantra Sedan. Yesterday while I was waiting for my 12,000Km maintenance service, I was reading the maintenance schedule. It is said that wheel alignment is recommended in the 24,000Km maintenance. That surprised me. I had a Civic before the Elantra, 96,000km and I never had to do wheel alignment. I don't remember doing wheel alignment for any of my past cars at least until 70,000km. Is it really needed that early?

Thanks,
Ailton

Honestly I don't think its to soon for an alignment check. We have a 2010 Accent and always had a vibration at speed from the front. The dealer checked the balance on the tires twice and it never went away. After putting the second set of tires on it and then seeing that one tire was already down 2/32", I opted for the alignment. It was way off! No wonder we burned through the first set of tires. Vibration is totally gone now.
