My salesman told me that would not happen......because the lights shut themselves off in a minute or so and that's why there is no alarm.2. The car lacks an alert when you leave your headlights on after parking and exiting the car. Good chance I'll drain the battery eventually.
Take it to the dealer and have them fix it......and your squeeking door too.Anyone know how to possibly fix this small rattle in the door?
Your lights don't turn off automatically? If I leave the light switch on, they turn off anyway. Kind of cool actually, cause when I go to unlock my car with the remote, the lights turn on... great safety feature.I've only had my new car a few days (2013 Hyundai Elantra Sedan Limited).. so I might add to this list later.
Two things I don't like:
1. The stereo systems is NOT the greatest. The controls are fine. It's just the speakers and sound quality that seems a bit weak.
2. The car lacks an alert when you leave your headlights on after parking and exiting the car. Good chance I'll drain the battery eventually.
The list of things I love is too long to write, so I'll just stick with the complaints for now. haha
Two things, in the trip computer options screen, you can turn headlight delay off if you are worried about battery drain...My salesman told me that would not happen......because the lights shut themselves off in a minute or so and that's why there is no alarm.
I haven't had a chance to try it yet though.
What I don't like so far:
Road noise/tire noise. It's not just the one I got either. I test drove 3 and they all did it.
Yes, the consensus seems to be that the tires are more than half the problem.so maybe a different tire will fix that problem?
Mine is pretty basic. I don't think it has any "trip computer options".Two things, in the trip computer options screen, you can turn headlight delay off if you are worried about battery drain...
unfortunately a lot of cars in the Elantra's segment doesn't have an adjustment like that, a lot of the luxury cars have it though. But seeing how HYundai is a brand that does things differently and right, it could be a future add-onI basically love the Elantra Limited with tech package. My wife would suggest that the front passenger seat have a height adjustment on it. She is short and feels like she is riding on the floor. Even a manual height adjustment would work. The driver seat is powered and adjust many was so the driver seat is not a problem. The car is feature rich of so many nice touches.
Our Elantra GT has seat height adjustment on it plus all the typical adjustments and lumbar. Maybe that was a carry over from the i30 the GT is based off of?I basically love the Elantra Limited with tech package.
