i find that seats in hyundai's aren't all that comfortable, sonata had better seats, still nothing to rave about.got black/black man se coupe....
seats are a bit hard and the sport suspension is nothing. the stock tires are cheezy and seem like they will not last long or go in any snow. The sound system is also pretty weak. would have loved to get premium sound and touch nav but not available in manual car.
i do like the fuel economy so far and being able to use regular fuel!
for what the elantra is the stock tires seem to suit it well but definitely not tires you want to use in winter. good thing with these cars winter tires will be cheap cause of the generic size they take!the stock tires are cheezy and seem like they will not last long or go in any snow.
I like the design but I agree that it needs more power.
I have a friend of mine that complained about the speakers. Are they really that bad? Were you able to see what brand and spec speaker Hyundai used?I like the style, comfort, steering response, all the built in tech and of course the great MPG.
The rear suspension is a little too stiff (sort of jumps when you go over a bump). Not as "sporty" as expected.
Needs more low end torque.
Stock tires suck ... but I can easily change that.
Radio isn't the best, but after I replaced the speakers with infinitys ... it sounds pretty darn good especially with the P-base turned up.
All-in-all I am very happy with the coupe!!
Actually the factory speakers were not that bad, but once I replaced them I notice a big difference. I am not sure what the OEM brand was, but replacing them with infinity’s did the trick.I have a friend of mine that complained about the speakers. Are they really that bad? About low end torque. With such a small engine, it's hard to put out good torque numbers already, so I wouldn't imagine low end torque being improved. But thanks for bringing that up, it's something i'll pick up on when going for a test drive soon.
You should create an intro thread and post pic's of your Elantra in a separate thread here: http://www.elantraforum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18
that's pretty bad, at 5'7 your not that tall. heck im 5'10. imagine how it would be for me. Usually Hyundai was good with catering to people that are tall.I wish the seat was able to be lowered more. I feel like I'm sitting on top of the seat instead of IN the car. I'm 5'7. I don't think I should have to duck my head at all to get in or out.
wellll it's a great excuse to throw in some racing seatsI wish the seat was able to be lowered more. I feel like I'm sitting on top of the seat instead of IN the car. I'm 5'7. I don't think I should have to duck my head at all to get in or out.
