O2 bank 1 sensor 1 Heater High

Hi,
I just bought a 2008 Elantra and it has a check engine light code for bank 1 sensor 1 heater high. The dealer had replaced the sensor, but with a cheap eBay one. Is there a way to check if the heater is bad or will I have to buy a new OEM sensor?
