Hi there,

I have a 2003 Elantra GLS with supposedly around 50-51,000 miles. It started leaking oil real bad one morning when I started the car. I shut car off and had it towed to shop. They replaced crankshaft seal and timing belt. Mechanic told me seal kept popping out and that there was excessive play in crankshaft. I read about other people having this same issue, and that the thrust washers or bearings had come out. Can I just have thrust bearings replaced or do I have to get another engine?
