If this is in the wrong location feel free to move it. I noticed that on my cars that have instant and average MPG readouts I drive more conservatively. When I don't pay attention to my driving habits my Coupe gets about 35 mpg on my daily commute, rolling hills, back roads 28 miles round trip.

Today after about 70 miles into my last fill up this was my readout. You can't argue with that kind of mileage from a non hybrid or diesel. I do have the 6spd manual.

I did notice a jump in MPG when the car hit 15k, must be the natural break in period for the Elantra 1.8l.

I've gotten between 27 and 42 depending on weather, speed and terrain. Overall 38 on the highway in the summer.
