The base 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS sedan starts at $17,470, including a $775 destination charge, reflecting a $1,350 price increase over the base 2012 Hyundai Elantra sedan, according to the Hyundai.com configurator.
The configurator does not yet having pricing on the 2013 Hyundai Elantra coupe or the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback.
The 2013 Elantra is more expensive than the base 2012 Honda Civic DX sedan, the 2012 Nissan Sentra and the 2012 Ford Focus sedan.
This is an extremely competitive segment of the market. Hopefully Hyundai knows what they are doing. Personally I don't like the price hike, but who does?
