Frequently intermittent misfire has come on, on my Hyundai Elantra 2010 (a 5-speed manual transmission). Just wondering if anyone knows possible reasons causing this problem, and any appropriate diagnostic tool recommended?

Any advice greatly appreciated. HELP!!!

Yes it is safe, this device does nothing to modify your engine just reads data coming from it. I typically plug in ELM327 device then start engine and start app after car is running then scan. My scanner is from http://ow.ly/E5ZD4 for $16 shipped free. Money well spent. It seems the seller has lowered its price to $14.
