I heard a YouTube mechanic talk about he had a Elantra (looked like a 2010) that had it's engine replaced for free by Hyundai because of a manufacturer defect. Apparently any car can get a free engine replacement no matter how old as long as it's maintenance was kept up. This was apparently due to knock issues. I Googled it and can't find any evidence supporting the claim. Is this true?
Also...last time I take my car to a shop for things I can do when I feel lazy. Last I had my car in the shop was easily 5 months ago. I just now found out my brake fluid reservoir cap has been left open. Thanks Valvoline. Brake fluid looks like merky mud puddle water... It's been months....nice.
