Do you guys have any plans to modify your Elantra Sedan?

nice thing to have as there's not much going on, on the sides of the Elantra. the sides are really flat and doesn't have much a belt line

I think it will look clean my Elantra is Midnight black so with some chrome it would give it a subtle boost in class

it would for sure, if the Elantra came with chrome on the side from factory it would help with making the chrome flow better but even just having chrome handles....it will look fine.

I've already tinted my windows. I'm thinking about getting racing pedals. Not because I drive like a maniac, I just like the way they look. That is, if my wife would let me get them.

Let me run down the list of completed mods: beam wiper blades, K&N air filter, Rain X washer fluid, HID highlights, HID foglights, front speakers upgraded, full synthetic oil, LED interior lights, LED trunk light strip, LED reverse lights, changed the stock image of the LCD panel.

Things for the future: snow tires, window tint, complete speaker upgrade + subwoofer, exterior LED lights and maybe brakes in the distance future.

Spring is here, time to start modding...

• Car is debadged, including front plate
• Ordered center caps to replace my hub caps
• Adding driving lights
• Adding window tint

Once I get that done, I'll likely have 100 more ideas.

I just bought my 2014 Hyundai Elantra SE about a month ago, maybe a little less. I have already tinted the windows. That was a must! The next thing I want to do is get the Xzilion stuff put on the car for added protection. Anyone else have that done?

I don't want to do too much modification right now because of the warranty. I found the company Shark Racing and they have a lot of cool Elantra parts, but they are really expensive. Plus, I'm not sure if I could get away with HID headlights and such without voiding the warranty.

What year is your elantra? I'm interested in knowing how you changed the LCD panel image.

We have a 2013 Coupe. To change the image on the LED screen you'll need some kind of USB memory stick. I suggest keeping the images small to medium as the desktop sized ones don't work. If the images are available, you'll be able to scroll through them until you find one you like. Then you can set it as the default. The image will only show when the infotainment system is off via the center power button. The image I used is shown below.

Precision LED has a Elantra LED package that should work for you. I did my whole car with them.
