my '07 elantra gets around 31mpg combined mostly highway, I have no complaints.

Geez, my old Sonata V6 was getting 20~22 around town, and I drove it hard too. My 2015 Elantra Limited is pulling at least 27 so far, but I've only had it 5 days now.

MPG has to do with driving style, weather, and local terrain.

That's it.

I can dog a Prius and make it get low 20s.
