Hello everyone just joined and already my first post..lol

I have led door projector lights that I'm installing in the door panel facing down to illuminate the ground when the car door is opened (like a puddle lamp) I've located the door trigger for the lights to go on and off when door is opened and closed but can anyone tell me if there's a power line I can tap into in the door panel? And if so which one(color). I have a 2013 Elantra sedan.

Thanks

Hmmm hard to say. There has got to be power to the actuator that you could tap into.

Post up some photos when you get it done. I'm interested to see how it looks.

I wish we could pull up a wiring diagram. I guess you can always splice a wire you believe to be a power line, put a volt meter to it, and go from their.

you can use an "add a circuit" for your positive line supply. tap it to the internal lights which is a 10 amp fuse. your ground supply will be coming from the door switch which will provide a complete circuit once the door is open.
