I just hit 105k miles on my 2012 Elantra standard transmission, and the dealership says I need a trans fluid flush. I'd like to do it myself but its a sealed transmission and I can only find a way to do a transmission fluid change. Is there a good way to flush it, or should I just change it?
I've found guides on how to flush it using the lines from the transmission to the oil cooler, but I can't find any lines coming from the tranny, and can't find an oil cooler next to the radiator (I've read most manuals don't have an oil cooler). Could I do a flush with a hand fluid pump going into the fill and just draining from the drain plug?
