This is a difficult job. Get a parts diagram w/ your vin # before starting. There is a small bracket ( part # 32847P ) secured w/ a 12 mm hex bolt which must be removed in addition to 2 hex bolts on the base at bottom. No service information mentions this bolt. Unbolt and move driver seat rearward to work under dash. I removed all connectors from fuse box to get a 1/4 locking extension w/ 12 mm flex socket on this upper bolt. There are 2 small phillips screws as well as 2 more 12mm hex bolts on the base plate. Phillips are necessary only on reinstall to hold things together when pushing the new master through the firewall. Clearance is tight on reinstall. I rotated the master and had to force it slightly due to interference from the power steering pump on the steering wheel column. Only need to loosen slave cylinder bleed screw a bit. Gravity carries brake fluid down to remove air. No pumping of master pedal necessary.
