My daughter had an incident where she accidentally backed into a drop on the side of the road which was covered in snow.

I do not know how deep the drop was or how hard the snow was.

The result was Traction control lights on the Dash

Took it to the dealership, half hoping to get it covered under warranty.

Was told that the bracket holding the wire was bent and that it would not be covered under warranty.

I was also told that the fee for investigating was $140ca. (my wife had dropped it off)

I argued that it should be covered under warranty. I claimed normal wear and tear for driving in Canada - to no avail.

They did drop the investigation fee.

They wanted to charge $500 for repair. They must have thought I was made of money.

Anybody else experience this issue.
