The 2022 and 2023 Elantras have the auto start-stop system that turns off the engine at a stoplight. I can't think of anything that could wear out an engine faster.
I know you can press a button to disable the system for that session's driving, but I would like to permanently disable this thing.
Anyone know if a good source for this? I've found software parches for Ford and other makes, but nothing for Hyundai.
Better yet, anyone running one of these things have a first hand report?
