Was out doing some errands today and all was fine with the 2021 Elantra SEL. Came back out from a store, turned the car on and saw all sorts of orange icons with six different 'check' notifications appearing one after the other...
Check Blind Spot Safety System
Check Forward Safety System
Check Rear Cross-traffic Safety System
Check Lane Keep System
Check High Beam Assist System
Check Driver Awareness System

When going through the driver/system options, it appears the Driver Awareness System has been disabled.

Icons in orange across top of screen: EPB, Lane Keep, Auto Hold, and Adaptive cruise control. Red steering wheel with exclamation mark. Near the bottom of the screen, orange triangle with exclamation mark just to the right of the MPG indicator.

Power steering doesn't work, outside temp indicator is blank

No check engine or low fluid lights (that's a good thing), engine runs fine, brakes, fuel gauge, radio, lights work fine. Was able to drive home without a problem. Couldn't call the dealership since it's Sunday, but will call in the morning before going to work. Checked all fluids after getting home, all are good. Checked fuses, all are good. I'm guessing it's probably a sensor or something related to the computer than can hopefully be easily fixed. I work tomorrow and off on Tuesday so I'm planning to call dealership in the morning to let them know, drive the short distance to work and back tomorrow, then take the car in on Tues morning.

Has anyone else had this problem? Did a search and apparently it's pretty common in Hyundais.

BTW, after only 7,000 mi, this car had to have the tranny replaced. Dealership had it for 42 days. Now this. Not a happy camper.

UPDATE:
As some have mentioned regarding starting their car the following day after getting the master warning and all the system checks, no power steering, etc, that's exactly what happened to me. Started the car this morning and all warnings were gone with everything back to 'normal' as if nothing ever happened. Very odd and makes me trust this car even less. Looking forward to lease end, or possibly getting out of the lease early and moving on to something more reliable.

Sadly, that’s Hyundai. Constant unusual issues and problems that you will chase the entire time you own it. You will find the 10/100 warranty is useless as Hyundai will never approve payment to fix a problem the right way. For example, one of my front struts went bad under warranty but they would only replace the one. When I called the dealership later, didn’t identify myself, they said they would not replace only one strut as it’s not safe with extreme braking and handling. (One side would be stiffer than the other.) When I asked them why Hyundai is replacing only one side they said well, “that’s all the Hyundai will cover.” The person went on to state this is not ideal. Well, never again for me. Garbage econobox. Go Toyota Corolla for a little more and ride to 250k with few problems!

Thanks for the reply DocDoug. I leased a 2018 Ioniq prior to this Elantra, and the Ioniq was a great car with no issues. I wanted purchase the Ioniq at lease end, but the dealership wouldn't work with me on the financing even though my credit score is 848. It had very low miles after three years (18k) and I keep my vehicles in perfect condition. It looked like it had just come off the showroom floor, so they knew they'd make money reselling it, so gave me financing figures that were completely ridiculous...knowing I wouldn't accept their offers. I tried my bank, but at that time, something was going on with vehicle financing and even my bank gave me high rates I didn't want to deal with. But of course, they gave me a good lease deal on the Elantra. I had such a good experience with the Ioniq, I thought the Elantra would be okay. Wrong. As I said, the transmission on this Elantra had to be replaced after only 7k mi. The dealership/Hyundai USA completely covered it, but had my car for 42 days. Thankfully I was given a complementary loaner for the full time they had the Elantra. Hyundai and the dealership (Bentley Hyundai in Huntsville, AL) were very accommodating. No problems after the tranny replacement except for a couple recalls for seatbelt tensioner issues, and something having to do with the front seats possibly exploding. And now this electronic issue that mysteriously cleared itself the next day. Seriously?? I've owned two Audis and they were truly awful, but this Elantra is right there with them regarding ongoing problems. Yes, I'm already looking at the Toyota Corolla standard or hybrid in preparation for when I'm done with this lease. I'm getting 41-46 MPG with the Elantra which is better than the standard Corolla and the Corolla doesn't have as much room (and don't really like the interior), but what good is a car with more room and better looking that's always at the dealership for repair??!! I have friends with high mileage Toyotas that have had no issues, and at 74, reliability is now my main concern. And Toyota is right there at the top.

Glad everything is now OK. BUT I would check the battery connections and get the battery load tested !
Electronics can be a pain and have a glitch now and then !
A couple times on my Chevy the Air Bag light came on. Shut car off restarted and all OK
WHY ? I do not know :O
