Ok, I have this new 18 model. It has the android auto apple car play blah blah. The stock sound system sucks. It has weak volume and the tone is just bad.

So, I have installed a new Sony system. The only thing stock is the radio/dash screen itself.
I've got the new Sony 5 channel amp with integrated DSP (digital signal processor), the Sony 6.5s in the rear doors, the Sony 6.5 components with crossover in the front, and the Sony 12" DVC sub in a custom fitted ported box in the trunk.

So my thoughts are.....OK......its better, but it is still missing something. It lacks something that fills the car with sound. For a 12" sub with 600 watts going to it.....It should be louder.....it should feel louder.
The door speakers before and after kinda sound like you're in a hallway. It's kinda hollow.

Has anyone successfully installed a badass system in their 2017-2018 where it actually works? What did you do? What did you use? Or, I'm I just being too picky? I paid the audio shop almost $1400 for this setup.

Fixed......
Apparently our new cars factory speakers require very low watts to make sound.
Sound guy at Audio shop changed the inputs from the normal place on the amp......to the low level input
....and Viola.....all the sound you want or need.
