I am new to this forum. I purchased a 2018 Hyundai Elantra in November 2018. It has 800 miles on it. Today the check engine light came on. I called the dealership, but they can't get me in til next Thursday. So I took it to Advance Auto, and they scanned it.
It is throwing code P0302. Cylinder 2 misfire. I tried to look this up online, and it says it is a severe code.
This car probably sat all year on the dealership lot, as it only had 48 miles when I bought it.
I am scared to drive it now. I know NOTHING about cars, I bought a new car so I didn't have to worry about mechanical issues.
Is this safe to drive til my appointment next week?

have you heard of new cars like this throwing this code.
Thanks for your help.
