The updated Elantra is expected to keep its existing 1.8- and 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines, while a new turbocharged 1.6-liter motor mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is likely to join the lineup as a fuel economy focused model. Inside, styling will likely mimic the 2015 Hyundai Sonata’s new interior.
The 2015 LA Auto Show will play host to the official unveiling of the redesigned Elantra in November.
