That is pretty good news I'd say. 38 mpg combined is pretty good. Ultimately it is going to matter more what the price is. Any guesses on that?

What would this be competing with? I guess there are plenty of hybrid sedans out there now. It could get a leg up from all those Priuses that just got recalled.

Screw all this hybrid crap. Give me a turbo diesel. I used to work on diesel Jettas and could get up to 55mpg on the highway and I didn't have to worry about the 4k price tag on the batteies every 4 to 5 years. Or better yet, if you're set on a hybrid, make a turbo diesel hybrid. If a car is being advertised as super fuel efficient, I'm not impressed by anything below 45mpg anymore.

I wish the industry here acted on diesels much quicker, now more diesels are making it to america meanwhile the same thing is happening to hybrids.
