Doesn't seem much of an update but I do agree that the design of this elantra will be much more timeless than the rest of Hyundais lineup.

interesting tidbit about the steering wheel wear. I wonder why it's not covered under the warranty when the car is so new.

also, they are only averaging 26.5 MPG? they must have serious lead feet.

I agree about the design being timeless. I can't see it looking old any time soon. The body lines on it are lines you would see on expensive luxury vehicles, never on a entry level sedan.

Thumbs up on Hyundai with the new body design. They need it to compete with the rivals in the same segment. The only way is up if they keep up the fresh looks to keep consumers interested.

That steering wheel issue comes to my surprise, I have been in new and used Elantra's while car shopping and haven't noticed this at all. I'll be sure to look out for it next time.
