I bought 2002 Elantra in October and I am facing some problems with it..
my Transmission is jumping (some times 2.5 to 3.5 RPM @ speed of 40MPH) and recently faced a small problem new a signal light where it didint pickup and i need to stop the car and give a high rise and get it to normal condition..
And Its rough when driving
what is the problem or just because of the climate(need to give some time before driving)

Suggestions PLz

when the RPM's are jumping is the engine actually increasing it's rev's too? or is it something happening just on the RPM gauge?

Sounds like it could be the throttle position sensor.
Have you take your Elantra to a mechanic as yet?
