Navigation Upgrade

Hello everyone,,
I'm curious if anyone has any experience in replacing/upgrading the 2014 Elantra (Limited) Nav system with one with newer maps and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support? I saw there was a free update for 2015-2017 that did this.
