2013 proximity and remote start compatibility

First, I apologize if this has been addressed already. I was unable to locate anything with the search.

My 2013 Elantra limited has the limited tech package that includes the proximity key with push button start. Remote start was not an option once you upgraded to LT package....This sucks in Ohio but i really wanted that push button.

I was trying to find out if anyone has successfully installed an aftermarket remote start keeping the proximity/push button in service. If so what does it require?

**Hindsight I should have stuck with the key ignition.**

I know DEI (Viper and several other brands) makes modules for GM, Ford, Nissan and others. Check with a viper dealer.
