I am trying to pass the NJ emissions test for a 2013 Elandra Gt. On the OBD readiness status the fuel system is not ready and the heated catalytic converters; the secondary air injection and the A/C refrigerant are listed as unsupported. I have been told by the dealer that I need to drive the car. and to keep driving. So far the I have driven 844 miles and the car still does not pass. I was also told that normal is 250 miles. The dealer says that it will pass inspection eventually and keeps giving me routes to follow. The car currently has about 124,771 miles on it. When I first got it I had to make about $4,000.00 in repairs. My husband insists he is cold all the time and wants to keep the engine running if we are out together. I just bought the car in April. Would his insistant on keeping the car running because he is cold have anything to do with this emissions problems.
