New to the forum and hoping you guys can help me. I have a 2009 Elantra GLS that currently has 15" OEM steel wheels. I have a chance to get a set of OEM rims from a 2012 Sonata Hybrid. The rims are 16" alloys. Will these rims fit my Elantra? I plan to get new tires for the rims. I have searched a lot but haven't really found an answer I am comfortable with
things to look out for when looking at different wheels is the bolt pattern, center bore (part of the back of the wheel that sits on the hub) and the width (if you care about how sunken or poked the wheel can be).
usually wheels on hyundai sedans are interchangeable and you shouldn't need to worry if it will fit or not, but it's always good to double check.
I have a hybrid check the brake clearence. I bought a full size spare from the hyundai store on line. They make it clear do to the regeneration breaking the rotor and clapper must clear. Just my 2 cents
