Exclamation Distance to Empty Issue

I have a ‘13 Elantra GT, and for the past few months, the distance to empty gauge has been decreasing rapidly, to the point where i can literally watch the numbers change while i’m driving. For example, i will start off with the gauge reading “300 miles to empty,” and drive to school which is a max of 3 miles away, and the gauge will fall to “290 miles to empty’; sometimes more. I took it to the dealer back in November, and they said there was no fuel leak, but never gave a solid explanation for the problem. I find myself having to fill up almost twice a week due to this issue. I drive on average 15 miles a day, all city, and i haven’t changed anything in the car (same gas, same driving style, same time of day, et.c.). The car doesn’t have any other issues, but does anyone have any ideas what’s causing this/how to fix it?
