Did springs change from 2017 to 2018?

I have a 2018 Elantra SE 6MT on 15" steelies.

Based on what I'm seeing on the road, I've seen Elantras on both the 15s and 16s look lower more often than I see them looking the same height as mine.

I've looked side by side upon parking next to one and there's definitely a ride height difference, almost an inch. Is this just from the year? Or is there something I'm missing?

I'd love to just get springs from a 2017 if it's that easy.

mine is a 2017 on factory 17" wheels, I haven't noticed it being lower than others. Although I would like it dropped an inch or so.
