New clutch issues

Howdy All,
My Elantra issue is a clutch problem. We had a slipping clutch so we replaced it with new pressure plate, clutch disk and release bearing. We got them all back together and didn't seem to have any problems in the reassembly but we can't get the clutch to work. I can push the release lever in all the way and hear the "click" at the bearing but it wont stay "clicked." If I push the clutch pedal in the first time it will push the release lever but the level will not return. I cannot put it in gear.

There is fluid in the clutch reservoir and we have bleed to release cylinder.

I'm at a loss. Can someone give me some clues to the next step?

Problem Solved

For anyone who finds themselves with the same problem, we figured it out.

After removing and reinstalling the new clutch a second time we had the same results. The release bearing would not snap into the pressure plate. I went to the local parts house with my VIN number and had them check the part to make sure we had the correct clutch kit; which we did. They had another kit in stock, so I bought it, installed it the same way as before and it worked as it should have. The release bearing snapped into place and the pull clutch works great. I returned the defective clutch kit to the parts house for a refund. No more problems.
