**BEFORE YOU ORDER YOUR HID KIT...**
After all the research (and a little trial and error) here is what works with the 2013 Elantra...
· 35W bulbs just don't cut it and the 881 (PGJ13) base never really fits correctly in the fog light housing. The H11 base fits much better (so keep that in mind when ordering your HID kits).
· I installed a 6000K HID kit using a digital CANBUS ballast. This will eliminate the flickering or the lights cutting out due to the cars computer detecting a wattage mismatch (no cancellation/warning resister kit needed as the CANBUS has it built in.)
My fog lights are awesome now! So bright and really lights up the road. The only problem now is the stock headlights look so yellow and dim compared to the HID fogs ... so not that I really care about how it looks, I am going to upgrade my headlights now because the light from the HID's make such a difference at night!
If anyone has any questions ... please feel free to ask... I think after all my trial and error and research I have become an Elantra HID expert...LOL
