2006 Elantra: Can door lock be operated after removing actuator?
I have a 2006 Elantra Limited that has a wonky driver-side door lock actuator. The key fob doesn't open it reliably, so I wanted to have a look at the actuator motor. I'd like to remove the actuator and reassemble the door without it, if possible. That will let me divide the work and get to the actuator when I have some more time. Does anyone know if the door will operate without the actuator installed?
